The European project LIFE ALGAECAN held on June 19 its second monitoring meeting in the HUERCASA facilities, in the municipality of Sanchonuño (Segovia), where the partners of the initiative shared the progress made in the last year and presented in partnership the pilot plant, already prepared to start testing microalgae.

The consortium of the project, formed by AlgEn, HUERCASA, VIPI, NTUA and CARTIF, accompanied by María Rodríguez, NEEMO’s monitor, visited the plant and explained the functioning of the different teams within it. In the previous meeting the technical, economic and management aspects of the project were presented, as well as the progress made since the first monitoring meeting, which took place in March 2018.
